Resettings your WordPress Password

Resetting your password is very simple and can be done by performing the following steps:

  1. Go to your web site's login page.  It is located at http://INSERTYOURDOMAINHERE/login
  2. Click the "Lost your password?" link underneath the login form.
  3. Enter either your username (typically your first initial and last name i.e. JDoe) or the email address associated with your WordPress account.
  4. Click "Get New Password"
  5. If an account was found matching the information you provided, you will receive an email within about 5 minutes with a link to reset your password.  Click that link to take you to the password reset form.
  6. Enter a new password in the password reset form.  Our 3rd Generation Hosting requires that accounts have complex password.  Use the meter at the bottom of the login form to determine if your password is strong.
  7. Click "Reset Password" to save your new password.
